RSC Grants
The Royal Society of Chemistry offers a range of grants to support members of the community wishing to attend conferences and meetings.

Awarded to members with caring responsibilites, this grant can be used to cover any additional costs you incur, paying for care that you usually provide. Up to 1200 may be awarded.

Awarded to members with disabilities or ongoing health issues which may impact the attendance of conferences. Up to £1200 can be awarded to help support extra travel expenses, personal assistance costs, communication support etc.
Bursaries
Bursary applications for the 2025 Annual Conference are now CLOSED. Applicants will be informed as soon as possible of the outcome and registration made available as needed.

The RSC Porous Materials Interest Group is delighted to be able to support Early Career Researcher attendance at the Annual Conference.
​
Bursaries can be awarded to: undergraduate students, postgraduate students (MSc or PhD), postdoctoral researchers, technical staff at any career stage, or independent early career academics (defined as those within five years of starting their first independent position). Bursaries will typically be limited to £500 and can be used for economy/standard class travel; registration (conference dinners can be included in registration fees); accommodation. Subsistence and other expenses are not eligible.
